Our Work

Metapeace is a Swiss non-profit organization dedicated to building peace through science, technology, and education. We promote ethical, human-centred, and responsible use of digital and virtual environments, facilitate global dialogue, and create high-impact educational experiences that connect learners and leaders worldwide.

Through Nobel Talks, Metapeace brings leading scientific voices into the Metaverse to foster inclusive, high-level dialogue across borders and disciplines. Through Nobel Land, we translate outstanding research into immersive learning experiences for students and educators globally. Through the Ethical Metaverse Standards Framework, we help ensure that digital and virtual applications are guided by clear ethical principles, accountability, and trust.

Metapeace serves as a normative and mediating platform at the intersection of technology and society. We work to humanize emerging digital and virtual worlds by embedding ethical principles into their design, governance, and user experience. Our focus lies on protecting fundamental rights, strengthening users’ agency, and safeguarding digital sovereignty and well-being. Users shall feel safe and empowered, while institutions and creators act transparently and responsibly.

Metapeace also describes the condition we seek to cultivate. It is the state in which technology no longer fragments attention or amplifies fear, but becomes transparent and supportive of presence, understanding, and connection. Digital spaces reflect mindfulness rather than reactivity, respect rather than domination, and compassion rather than indifference. In such an environment, progress and peace are not in tension, but naturally aligned.
